Cash Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cash Manager to join a respected organisation in Milton Keynes on an interim basis, offering the flexibility of full or part-time hours. Job Title - Cash Manager

Rate - £30-£35 per hour (Inclusive of holiday pay)

Contract - 2 months

Location - Milton Keynes

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate an international finance team to promote best practice in cash management, ensuring all members are aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee the management of debtors and creditors, taking responsibility for timely payments and collections across multiple regions.
• Drive the improvement and streamlining of existing processes, particularly focusing on payment runs to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Establish and maintain effective controls for chasing outstanding debts throughout the Group, supporting positive cash flow.
• Conduct regular reviews of supplier credit terms to ensure they remain competitive and beneficial for the organisation.
• Set up comprehensive weekly and monthly Group reports covering supplier credit status and the latest debt positions, providing clear insights for decision-making.
• Ensure adequate cover is always available within the team during periods of absence, maintaining continuity of service.
• Review current cash forecasting processes with a view to simplifying and enhancing their effectiveness for better predictability.

Experience needed

• Proven experience in cash management or treasury roles within medium or large organisations, ideally involving coordination of international teams over multiple locations.
• A track record of successfully improving or streamlining finance processes such as payment runs or cash forecasting, demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to efficiency.
