Casual Chef de Partie (CDP)

We’re hiring a Casual Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our friendly kitchen team at Brockhole on Windermere. You’ll work flexibly throughout the year, providing additional cover such as during staff holidays or during busy periods. Working days include weekends and weekdays, from approximately 9am to 6pm. What will I be doing?
You’ll play a key role in the main kitchens and outdoors food outlets at Brockhole and grounds. This includes a BBQ and mobile fish and chip van.
Other duties include:
• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the general running of the kitchen
• Preparing food for the restaurant and for the busy family café and other outlets and events
• Assist in tasks assigned by the Head Chef, such as ordering, stock control, invoicing and food cost control
• Help with production on food production of private bookings and events
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, tidiness, safety and personal presentation in all kitchens and food production areas About you
