Category Manager - Prof Services - 12 month contract

Exciting opportunity to join an expanding Public Sector Procurement team going through a period of change. We are recruiting for a Category Manager with a focus on HR and Professional Services on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is Hybrid with 3 days per week in the office. This key role involves identifying, planning, and delivering benefits for estates, ensuring alignment with the organisation's Procurement plan.In this role you will

• Define, shape and Implement the Category Strategy
• Run end-to-end procurements in accordance with the new Procurement Act regulations.
• Identify and manage high-value and high-risk suppliers

We are looking for

• Individuals with Public Sector Procurement experience
• Individuals with previous experience of working within professional services or HR procurement
