Catering Assistant- Part time

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our part-time team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering delicious meals and exceptional service to our customers at our various catering events.

As a Catering Assistant, you will assist in food preparation, service, and maintaining cleanliness in the catering area. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments at catering events.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and managing food waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support chefs and other kitchen staff in various duties as needed.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service to enhance their dining experience.
• Participate in setup and breakdown processes for events.

Working Hours

• Part-Time Position
• Monday-Friday 10AM-3PM
• £12.21 per hour

• Previous experience in a catering or food service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge, or a willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented attitude and a positive approach to work.
