Our client, a key player in public services, is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant/Barista to join their team at Rose Hill HQ in Everton, Liverpool.

Position Details:

Role: Catering Assistant/Barista
Location: Rosehill Police HQ
Contract Type: Temporary (12 months)
Working Pattern: Part Time (30 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 02:30 PM)
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with your team to prepare and serve delicious food and beverages.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all service areas.
Greet customers with a warm smile and provide exceptional service.
Use electronic point of sale systems to process payments efficiently.
Ensure stock levels are maintained and all equipment is operated safely.
Stay informed about menu options to assist customers with their choices.
Complete daily checks and cleaning schedules to uphold safe working practises.

What We're Looking For:

Local residents of Liverpool City Centre preferred.
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is a must.
Prior experience in retail or hospitality, ideally in a restaurant or coffee shop.
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and EPOS systems.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

Important Note: Due to police vetting requirements, applicants must have resided in the UK continuously for at least 3 years at the time of application. Applications that do not meet this criterion will not be considered.
