Job Title: Catholic priest

Location: Dover AFB, DE

Travel: N/A

Duties:

• Weekday Mass. Conduct three weekday masses as requested at the chaplain
• Weekend Masses. Conduct two Masses as requested at the chaplain.
• Perform holydays/Special services as requested. Such as but not limited to; memorial services, funerals, marriage ….
• Observe the guidelines and directives disseminated by the chaplain.
•   Candidate will not perform any ministry outside scope of Mass without the delegation or explicit permission of the chaplain.
• Coordinates with the permanent party Catholic Priest for follow up pastoral ministrations.
• Attends the Chapel staff meetings as requested by the chaplain.
• Attend the Financial Working Group meetings which occur twice a year when requested by the chaplain.
• Shall be able to provide at least:

                              -Sunday Masses-Weekday Daily Masses

                              -High Holy Day Masses/ Special Masses/ Baptism (to include weekends)

                             -Sacrament of Reconciliation

                             - Funerals/ Graveside Service

                             -Emergency Counseling

                             -Anointing of the sick

                             -Sacrament of Marriage

Qualifications:

• Candidate shall be a Roman Catholic Priest.

Education/Experiences:

• Be a certified Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) (preferable)
• three professional references with phone and email contract validating education and ministry experience.
