Certified Visual Welding Inspector

Visual Welding Inspector West London | 2 Days Per Week | 2-Month Assignment We are currently recruiting for a Certified Visual Welding Inspector to support quality assurance activities on a busy construction site in West London.
This is a temporary position offering 2 days per week for an initial 2-month contract, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced inspector to work on a live construction project ensuring welding works meet the required standards and specifications.

Position Details
Location: West London
Duration: 2 Months
Working Pattern: 2 Days Per Week (Flexible days)
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAPKey Responsibilities
Carry out visual inspections of welded joints and completed welding works.
Identify and report welding defects, non-conformances, and quality issues.
Ensure welding activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards.
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Liaise with site managers, supervisors, welders, and contractors regarding inspection findings.
Support quality assurance processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required.
Ensure all activities are carried out in line with site health and safety requirements.Essential Requirements
Certified Visual Welding Inspector qualification.
Valid CSCS Card.
Proven experience inspecting welding works within the construction or structural steelwork sector.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.Desirable
Experience working on large commercial or infrastructure construction projects.
Knowledge of relevant British Standards and welding codes.
Additional inspection or quality assurance certifications.
