Chair and Directors

o-region is seeking a new Chair and Directors to join its Board at an exciting point in the company's development, as it transitions to charitable status and plans for long-term sustainability.

Steered by award winning director, Simon Harvey, o-region makes original work which is entertaining, accessible and authentic. It tells stories which shine a light on its native Cornwall, taking inspiration from both its landscape and its people. o-region explores universal themes through the specificity of place. The Chair and Directors will play a strategic role in guiding the organisation, ensuring good governance, financial stability and alignment with its mission and values.

o-region is keen to hear from people with a broad spectrum of skills and experience, and from diverse backgrounds, who care about theatre, culture and community and who want to help a growing Cornish organisation thrive. Time Commitment:

Board meetings take place around four times a year

Additional input may be required through working groups or occasional meetings

Directors are invited and encouraged to attend key performances and events

Appointments are typically for a three-year term, with the option to renew

Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses can be reimbursed
