As a Children's Support Worker, you'll be at the forefront of providing crucial care and creating a safe, nurturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct support and care to children and young people in residential settings.
• Working hand-in-hand with permanent council staff to ensure seamless support.
• Responding effectively and calmly to the needs of challenging young people.
• Actively contributing to maintaining a positive, stable, and safe environment for all residents.

• Guaranteed 37 hours per week: Consistent shifts with a clear 8 am-8 pm pattern, working 2 days on, then 3 days off - providing a fantastic work-life balance!

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience working with challenging young people in residential settings.
• The ability and willingness to commit fully to a rolling rota of core shifts, prioritising them above other commitments.
• Experience with physical restraint techniques. If you don't have this, Randstad can provide comprehensive Team Teach training to get you up to speed.
• A UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is highly desired due to various locations across Cardiff.
