Claims Handler - Part time Saturdays

Job Title: Claims Handler (Remote - Saturdays Only)
Contract: Temporary (with a view to becoming permanent)
Hours: Saturdays, 9:00am - 1:00pm
Location: Remote (with 2 days in-office training in Aylesbury)

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Claims Handler to join our client's busy team, supporting the onboarding of new business.

This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, offering remote work every Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Please note that two days of mandatory in-office training will take place midweek at the client's head office in Aylesbury.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers and clients via phone, email, and internal systems
• Manage and authorise property insurance claims in line with service level agreements (SLAs)
• Maintain accurate job records and handle low-level complaints
• Review supplier estimates and invoices for accuracy and compliance
• Use digital tools and policy documents to assess and validate claims
• Conduct final audits and reconcile accounts before closing claims

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Proficient computer skills

Desirable:

• CERT CII certification or willingness to work towards it
• Experience in insurance claims or property services
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Interest in training and development opportunities
