Class 1 Day Drivers

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Day Cat C+E Drivers to join their growing team based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Our client can offer a variety of different shifts

The role will entail:

• General Haulage of recycled waste and recycled paper.
• Delivering to Hubs in various locations.
• The shifts are on average 12 hours long.
• Full time or part time hours available.
• Mainly a driving role including opening/ closing curtains and strapping of the load.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Full Class 1 licence (Minimum 1 year’s recent driving experience).
• Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
• Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
• Good roadcraft/ Geographical knowledge.

Pay rates:

• Monday to Friday (Days) = £15.93
• Saturday (Days) = £23.89
• Sunday and Bank Holiday (Days) = £31.86

All the above rates are PAYE paid weekly. Holiday accrual will be in addition to the rates.
