Class 1 Driver

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in North Kent for Class 1 Drivers based on a temp to perm basis. 

Successful candidates will be provided training on pressurised bulk tankers and the roll on roll off combi vehicle.

The role includes:

• Driving an LGV2 combi (roll on roll off) vehicle delivering + picking up silos
• Driving an LGV 1 Bulk tanker (X2 jobs per shift)

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• A full valid Class 1 Driving licence
• A valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card
• No more than 6 points or a DD or DR
• Flexibility to drive bespoke vehicles.

Other details:

• Hours of work is Monday to Friday starting between 05:00 hours – 06:00 hours, based on 10 – 11 hours per day (with a 45-minute break)
• The rate of pay is £15.52 per hour + holiday pay
• Time and a half after 48 hours worked
• Once full time with our client the salary is £38,734
