Class 2 Drivers

Class Two Days Drivers required for our client based in Gloucester (GL2).

This is to work on behalf of a well-established company that manufactures and supplies double glazing and other home improvement products to building, maintenance and construction companies throughout the UK.

Working as part of their Transport and Delivery team, mainly driving a curtain-sided rigid 18tonne truck, your duties will include delivering internals for windows, fascias and window glass to various customers across the country. They deliver on 6M stillages. A usual set route has no more than 4 to 5 drops per day, all of which are B2B deliveries - and if travelling further afield (e.g. Lancashire or Cornwall), then you are only looking at 1 drop and return.

Our work is flexible. We look for drivers who can work between one and five shifts, each week, on a regular ongoing basis. Due to the fragile load, you must be able to demonstrate a safe driving style.

Due to insurance restrictions; you must have held your Class 2 for at least 12 months, with experience too.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 04:00am starts daily,
Usually finished between 14:30 and 17:00 (route dependent)

Hourly Pay Rates:
£15.00 per hour (PAYE)
