Hays Education are looking for class teachers from September 2025 within the Redditch area, looking to work part-time, ideally 2 days per week. Your new role

Your new job as a Reception - Year 6 class teacher will be to work 2 days a week from September 2025 within the Redditch area. The ideal teacher for this role will be able to:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the school's curriculum and policies,
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of the class.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
• Maintain strong communication with parents and staff
• Participate in staff meetings and school events

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this job, you will need to have a good understanding of the national curriculum and be confident in teaching across the board from 5 to 11 years of age. You will be responsible for ensuring that lessons are tailored to support each child on their academic journey. Strong communication skills with staff, parents, and pupils are essential, as well as being adaptable and being able to follow the school's behaviour policy. You'll also need to deliver lessons that promote early years through to Year 6 and have strong Maths and English skills.
