Class Two Day Driver TEMP TO PERM

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Temp to Perm vacancy in Southampton (SO15) for a leading stockist of metal and steel products.

Working as part of their Class 2 fleet, you will be driving a flatbed vehicle, where your main duties will be delivering various metal and steel products to trade customers across the local area. You will be required to secure the load using ratchet straps.

Please note, drivers are expected to be flexible during quieter times of the year and help out in the warehouse when deliveries are light. You will still be paid your normal wage though.

This is a ‘temp-to-perm’ position, so we are looking for a driver who is looking for a long term permanent role. It will start as 12 weeks Monday to Friday via agency (ANCORA), then if you are successful, you will transfer over permanent.

Full induction and training is provided prior to starting.

Due to insurance restrictions; you must have held your Class 2 licence for at least 6 months, with experience too.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 07:00am starts daily, finished approx. 16:00pm daily.
No weekend shifts required.

Hourly Pay Rates:
£14.18 per hour (PAYE)
This hourly rate is reflective of the starting salary too when you transfer permanent.
