Location: Cranleigh

Salary: £26,199 - £27,051 per annum

About them:

The Trust is a registered charitable trust supporting children and young adults with severe and complex social communication and learning disabilities. Their inclusive community includes a special school, college, children’s home and adult supported living home. They’re dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for their students aged 5-19, many of whom display challenging behaviours. They value resilience, compassion and teamwork and candidates should possess physical and mental resilience.

The Role

As a General Assistant (Cleaning) you will be the backbone of their safe, clean and welcoming environment.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out a variety of practical cleaning tasks across offices, classrooms, washrooms and residential areas
  • Managing stock of cleaning supplies and handling chemicals safely
  • Responding promptly to spills and incidents
  • Deep cleaning in line with schedules and specifications
  • Laundry, waste and recycling tasks
  • Assisting with general estate and facilities duties as part of their team

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess physical and mental resilience and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  • Own transport is preferred due to their semi-rural location.

Training & Commitment:

All successful applicants will participate in Team Teach positive behaviour support training during induction - a vital part of their approach to supporting their students. By joining them, you will become a key worker committed to making a meaningful impact.
