Cleaner

• Location: Secondary School within the Leeds area (specific location to be provided)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3 PM - 6 PM

We are seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to join our team at a bustling secondary school. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean and safe environment for both students and staff. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

• Perform general cleaning duties across various areas of the school including classrooms, hallways, staff rooms, and toilets.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dirt and debris.
• Manage supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Follow health and safety regulations while carrying out cleaning tasks.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the appropriate school authority.

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (either possessed or willing to undergo).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications in cleaning or maintenance are desirable but not essential.
