Cleaning Operative – Banking Environment (Temporary to Permanent)

We are recruiting a Cleaning Operative to work within a secure banking / financial services environment in Bedford. This role is temporary to permanent, subject to performance and ongoing site requirements.

Working hours:

• Monday: 17:00 – 18:30 (1.5 hrs)
  

• Tuesday: 17:00 – 18:30 (1.5 hrs)
  

• Wednesday: 17:00 – 18:30 (1.5 hrs)
  

• Thursday: 17:00 – 18:30 (1.5 hrs)
  

• Friday: 17:00 – 18:30 (1.5 hrs)
  

• Saturday: 15:00 – 16:30 (1.5 hrs)
  

• Sunday: No work
  

Duties include:

• General cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, toilets, and communal areas
  

• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
  

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  

• Adhering to strict health, safety, and site security procedures
  

Mandatory requirements (banking environment):

• Right to work in the UK (must be presented and verified at induction)
  

• DBS check required
  

• Adverse financial check required

• Able to act as a key holder and operate alarm systems
  

• Willing to use a telephone time & attendance clocking system (mandatory)
