Client Accountant

Are you looking to join a highly successful, ever-growing property management and consultancy firm based in Central London? Our client is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join their team on an interim basis to support them over the coming months.

Our client is ideally looking to recruit a Client/Service Charge Accountant who possesses previous experience within the real estate sector, strong Excel skills and a strong interest in working within residential/commercial property management.

They are offering a competitive salary between £40,000 and £60,000 and for the right person this could turn into a permanent role.

What you will do as a Client Accountant:

• Accruals and prepayments
• Assist with monthly service charge reports.
• Setting up accounts and budgets onto the system.
• Checking balances.
• Service charge reconciliations
• Quarterly reconciling client statements.
• Quarterly cash reconciliations.
• Daily transactions.
• Purchase Ledger & Credit Control.
• Liaising with clients for all service charge related queries.

What you will need as a Client Accountant:

• Prior experience within client/service charge accounts, or within practice.
• Previous experience within property/real estate (preferred).
• Strong Excel skills.
• Competent with accounting software packages.
• Understanding of property management software (ideal).
• Being immediately available is essential
