Job Description - Clinical Psychologist

Clinical Psychologist (Part-Time) – Specialist Neurological Service | Up to £56,000 (Pro-Rata)

Our client, a specialist provider of care for adults with complex neurological conditions, is looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join their growing team.

This opportunity offers a rewarding and diverse role within a well-established service that supports individuals with acquired brain injuries, neurological diseases, and long-term rehabilitation needs. The team is passionate about delivering holistic, person-centred care and offers a warm and collaborative working environment.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the psychological wellbeing and rehabilitation of adults living with neurological conditions. You’ll work within a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, offering both individual and therapeutic interventions that enhance quality of life and promote independence.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Psychology, recognised by the BPS (or equivalent).

  • HCPC registration.

  • Experience in working with adults with neurological or cognitive conditions.

  • Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.

  • A proactive, empathetic, and person-centred approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions tailored to service users with complex neurological needs.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of personalised rehabilitation plans.

  • Offer consultation, supervision and training to colleagues within the service.

  • Collaborate with families and external agencies to ensure holistic care planning.

  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
