Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – 20 hours per week – Fully remote – Up to £60 per hour umbrella

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently seeking a Locum Commercial Lawyer to join a well-regarded Local Authority on an interim basis. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working within a Local Authority, particularly in relation to contracts, procurement, and corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating on a broad range of commercial contracts, agreements, and funding arrangements
• Provide advice on IT projects, construction contracts, grant agreements, subsidy control, and corporate advice
• Ensure compliance with Local Government and Public Sector legal frameworks

Role details:

• Duration: Initial 3 months with the possibility for extension
• Working arrangement: Fully remote
• Rate: Up to £60 per hour (umbrella)
