Job Description - Commercial Vehicle Design Engineer

Experienced Commercial Vehicle Design Engineer required.

Region: ST4

Responsibilities of the Design Engineer

Create detailed drawings and assembly instructions for manufacturing and procurement
Create parts lists, bills of materials, and operator's manuals
Maintain drawing office records
Source products for company use
Liaise with procurement
Liaise with various production departments during the build process
Adopt and enhance designs based on company design principles

Skills and qualifications

Good communication skills
Able to work within a team environment.
An eye for detail
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Excellent practical skills
Ability to solve problems
Experience/knowledge with Solidworks CAD software
Experience/knowledge with Microsoft Office software

Monday to Friday
Salary NEG

This position is subject to drug and alcohol testing

Public transport Train & Bus services these locations

This location(s) is commutable from Stoke, Longton, Burslem, Fenton, Hanley and Tunstall and all surrounding areas.
