O’Riley Pearce is seeking reliable Construction Labourers and General Operatives for construction projects across the UK.

The role involves supporting site teams with general labouring duties, material handling, site preparation and housekeeping. Candidates should be dependable, follow instructions and take health and safety seriously.

Key Responsibilities

Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction duties.

*

Load, unload and move building materials safely.

*

Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organised site.

*

Distribute materials and equipment around the site as instructed.

*

Follow site instructions, health and safety procedures and supervisor guidance.

*

Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

*

Report hazards and unsafe working conditions.

*

Work cooperatively with construction operatives and other trades.

Requirements

*

Previous construction labouring or general site experience is preferred.

*

A valid CSCS Labourer card where required by the site or client.

*

Understanding of basic construction site health and safety.

*

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

*

Reliable, punctual and available for the requirements of the assignment.

*

Ability to complete the appropriate UK Right to Work check before starting work.

Desirable Experience

*

Residential or commercial construction.

*

New-build or refurbishment projects.

*

Material handling and site preparation.

*

Relevant health and safety training.
