Conveyancer - Mat Cover Contract (/Locum)

Our client, an independent law firm with a strong presence in Cornwall for nearly five decades, is seeking a skilled Conveyancer to cover a maternity leave contract.

Position Overview

The Conveyancer will independently manage residential conveyancing files from initial instruction through to completion and registration, ensuring seamless progression and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage conveyancing files independently from start to finish

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members

• Engage with external platforms and third-party providers

• Address requisitions and resolve issues to maintain progress

• Ensure compliance with CDD, SoF/SoW, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Conveyancer with 2+ years' experience in a fee earner position

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or otherwise qualified by experience.

• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

• Clear and professional communication abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software
