Job Role: Level 4 Counselling Lecturer

Location: Redhill, Surrey

Hourly Rate: £40.19 (inclusive of holiday pay)

Employment Type: Sessional (hourly paid), Part-Time

A college in Redhill is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Level 4 Counselling Lecturer to join its team for the upcoming academic year. This is a sessional (hourly paid) position, with exact hours to be confirmed. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching to adult learners, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons in Counselling at Level 4
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
• Support learners in achieving their academic and personal goals
• Provide feedback and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and awarding body standards

• Proven teaching experience in counselling at Level 4 or higher
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
• Relevant counselling qualifications and professional experience
• Strong understanding of curriculum design and learner assessment
• Experience with SEG training and research methods is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
