Cover Manager

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a fantastic Cover Manager for a secondary school in Wallasey which will be starting as soon as possible. Please see below for further details:

Cover Manager

• Location - Wallasey,
• Type of work - Long Term, 2 year contact
• Start date - As soon as possible
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Hours - 36 hours per week- starting at 7:15am each day

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and allocating daily cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absence
• Line management of the Cover Supervisor and Supply Teacher team.
• Supervision of whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Primary focus of the role will be to maintain good order and to keep students on task ensuring they progress through the planned curriculum.

Requirements:

• Previous Cover Manager experience

To be eligible:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references.
