Cover Security Guard – Midlands (Birmingham, Wrexham, Derby, Desborough, Banbury)

12-Week Fixed-Term Assignment | £13.50/hr | Guaranteed 38 hrs/week

We’re looking for a dependable, SIA-licensed Security Guard to join our Midlands cover team for a 12-week contract. You’ll provide essential cover for holidays and sickness across a portfolio of client sites, ensuring seamless and professional security service delivery.

🔐 The Role

As a Cover Guard, you’ll rotate across various locations—stepping in wherever needed. This position suits an experienced, flexible security professional with a proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Please note: You must be comfortable staying away from home when required. Hotel accommodation is provided for assignments more than 1.5 hours from your home address.

🕑 Hours & Pay

• Guaranteed 40 hours/week, scheduled in advance

• £13.50/hour (includes holiday pay)

🏨 Travel & Accommodation

• Hotel stays fully covered when assigned to shifts more than 1.5 hours from your home

• Mileage or transport reimbursed per company policy

📋 Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding)

• Full clean UK driving licence

• Previous mobile relief or multi-site security experience preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Willingness to stay overnight away from home when covering remote sites
