Cover Supervisors

Location: Various locations across the North West
Salary: £80–£90 per day
Job Type: Temporary / Flexible Supply

We have opportunities available for reliable individuals who enjoy working within an educational environment and are confident supervising students across a range of subjects and year groups.

This role is ideal for individuals with previous classroom experience who can confidently manage a classroom, maintain positive behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with the work set by teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising classes in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

*

Delivering pre-planned lesson materials and ensuring students remain on task.

*

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

*

Supporting students with their learning and answering general queries.

*

Maintaining a safe, positive and productive learning environment.

*

Completing any relevant feedback for teaching staff at the end of lessons.

*

Adapting to different school environments, subjects and year groups.

Essential Requirements

*

Previous experience working within a school or educational setting.

*

Experience supervising or managing groups of students.

*

Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*

A flexible and reliable approach to work.

*

The ability to build positive relationships with students and school staff.
