Job Description - Credit Controller - Bilingual English & German - Part Time

Bi-Lingual Credit Controller (English/German) - Part Time
Hungtingdon
Hours - 25hrs pw Monday to Friday
Salary - Competitive DOE

Are you fluent in German and English? Do you have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in credit control?

An established and growing company based inHuntingdon is seeking a proactive and professional Bilingual Credit Controller to join their friendly finance team. This part-time, on-site position offers the chance to play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the business while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively manage and chase overdue payments from business customers
Monitor credit records and investigate outstanding debts
Set up and maintain customer accounts and structured repayment plans
Process payments and update financial records accurately
Liaise with legal representatives where necessary
Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc credit-related duties

Ideal Candidate:

Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written) – essential
Experience in credit control, collections, or a similar financial role
Confident using accounting software
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Highly organised, accurate, and able to prioritise effectively
Comfortable working independently in a professional office setting
