Credit Controller Part Time

Looking for a part-time role where you can take full ownership of the credit control function, but still enjoy flexible hours and hybrid working? This temporary 6-month role could be just what you’re after.
You’ll join a small, friendly team at a long-established international manufacturer with a strong reputation in their field. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll be the go-to person for credit control - managing customer relationships, chasing outstanding payments and ensuring the accounts receivable process runs smoothly from start to finish.
This role offers flexibility to work around your other commitments, ideally over 4 or 5 shorter days, with one day a week working from home.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers
• Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
• Monitoring aged debt and escalating overdue accounts where needed
• Allocating payments, cash posting and bank reconciliations
• Statement reconciliation
• Handling the accounts receivable close at month end

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Credit Controller / Credit Control Clerk / Sales Ledger Clerk / Collections Assistant / Accounts Receivable Assistant
• Available to start with short notice
• A confident and personable telephone manner
• Knowledge of Sage and Excel
