Primary Cover Supervisor – Nottingham & Nottinghamshire

Revolve Collective is recruiting Primary Cover Supervisors for school opportunities across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

The brief centres on supervising work prepared by teaching staff and maintaining the class’s established routines. It requires practical experience with primary-aged children and the confidence to manage a group while recognising when additional support is needed.

Our partner schools include settings where personal responsibility and children’s confidence are important parts of school life.

When the class teacher is absent

You’ll introduce activities, explain instructions, keep pupils focused and follow behaviour procedures. At the end of the session, you’ll provide a clear handover on work completed and any concerns.

Relevant preparation

Previous Primary Cover Supervisor experience is useful. We also welcome applications from HLTAs and Teaching Assistants who have undertaken classroom cover.

Please describe your experience managing groups in KS1 or KS2, including Year 3 or Year 4 where relevant. An understanding of safeguarding and school reporting procedures is essential.
