Customer Service Advisor ASB - Social Housing

We're seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our Manchester-based Social Housing client on a 2 month temporary contract, supporting their Anti-Social Behaviour team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, Mon, Tues, Weds).

Your new role

• Triaging first stage reports of ASB and other tenancy breaches from customers via telephone, face to face or email - gathering comprehensive information during customer contact, assessing the risk to each case and identifying possible safeguarding or high-risk concerns
• Handling incoming enquiries regarding ongoing or new cases, providing advice, signposting where appropriate or completing assessments where case escalation may be required
• Providing general admin support including copying, scanning case files and posting mail
• Working in partnership with other service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a social housing environment with an understanding of Anti-Social Behaviour, other tenancy breaches and housing sector knowledge
• Experience in a customer care/contact environment
• Active listening skills, ability to show empathy and patience when communicating with distressed customers
• Good organisational with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Strong IT skills
