Daily Cover Supervisor

Veritas Education is looking for reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis in secondary schools across the Kirklees area. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching, recent graduates, or anyone with experience working with young people.

Role Overview:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher
• Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate
• Support the wider school community as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working with young people (e.g. in education, coaching, youth work, tutoring, etc.)
• Strong classroom presence and confident behaviour management
• Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to think on your feet
• A genuine interest in education and supporting students' development
• Degree or A-Levels preferred but not essential
