Dance / Drama Specialists

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking engaging, personable Dance / Drama specialists to work in Warrington secondary schools.

• A Dance, Drama, Theatre, or Performing Arts graduate?

• Experienced teaching children in after-school clubs or weekend classes?

• Looking for flexible local work between 8.30?am and 3.30?pm?

We have a consistent demand for both qualified and unqualified teachers to cover lessons on a flexible basis. Whether you want full-time, part-time, or day-to-day supply work, we can match your availability, skills, and goals.

• Leading classes in the teacher's absence.

• Delivering pre-planned lessons using provided resources.

• Covering a range of subjects - including practical Dance or Drama sessions.

• Managing classroom, sports hall, or drama studio behaviour.

• Encouraging independent study and peer learning.

• Providing pastoral and learning support.

• Completing clear handover notes for the returning teacher.

• A degree in Drama, Dance, Theatre, Performing Arts, or a related subject.

• At least six weeks' experience in the last 3 years working with groups of children or teenagers (teaching, coaching, clubs, youth work).

• A referee we can contact for a detailed reference.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• Legal right to work in the UK.

• A full CV including employment/education history with any gaps explained.

• Flexible part-time or full-time work to suit your schedule.
