Female Dance/PE Teacher

Location: Lightcliffe Academy, Halifax
Hours: Supply, Part-Time (4 days per week Tuesday to Friday)
Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated female Dance/Physical Education teacher to join a passionate and supportive staff team at Lightcliffe Academy, Halifax on a supply basis.

What Will You Do?

• Plan and teach high-quality PE/Dance lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Encourage student participation in a variety of physical activities, dance, and sports.
• Organize and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel confident to participate.
• Promote physical and mental well-being across the school community.

What Do You Need?

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A background in Dance is required.
• A degree in Physical Education/Dance or a related field.
• Experience teaching PE
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for inspiring young women to lead active, healthy lifestyles.
