Job Title: Disability Support Assistant - SEN School
Location: Greenwich, South East London
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £95 - £115 per day
Contract: Temp to Perm

Remedy Education is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Greenwich. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, ideal for someone with experience supporting children and young people with complex needs in a school setting.

• Providing 1:1 and group-based classroom support for students with severe autism and other complex needs

• Assisting with wheelchair hoisting and mobility support

• Supporting students with personal care, including toileting and hygiene

• Managing and de-escalating challenging or harmful behaviours in line with school policies

• Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and external professionals to support student progress and wellbeing

• Experience working in a SEN setting or with individuals with disabilities (Essential)

• Manual Handling and Hoist Training (or willingness to be trained)

• Calm, patient and resilient personality

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

• Team player with a proactive and empathetic approach
