Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domicillary Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Your contributions will enhance the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring they receive the attention and support necessary for their well-being.

Duties
As a Domicillary Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Supporting individuals with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Assisting with medication management and ensuring adherence to prescribed care plans.
• Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients in assisted living or home care settings.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience in patient care, childcare, hospice care, or home care settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices and assisted living environments is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A compassionate approach to caregiving, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that require transportation duties.
