The Role:

As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) at this school in Blackpool, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and make a real impact on the lives of our students. You will receive dedicated support from an experienced mentor and benefit from our comprehensive ECT induction program. Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for students in Blackpool.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborating with your mentor and other colleagues within your department and across the school in Blackpool.
• Participating fully in our ECT induction program and professional development opportunities.
• Communicating effectively with parents/carers regarding student progress.
• Contributing to the wider life of our school in Blackpool.

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve it by September 2025.
• A strong passion for your subject and for teaching.
• A good understanding of the relevant curriculum.
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to learn and develop as an ECT.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a Blackpool school.
• A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all students.
