Job Description - Early Years Lecturer Assessor

Are you an experienced Early Years Lecturer? Do you have experience teaching and assessing. This is the role for you!

  • Early Years Lecturer Assessor
  • Location: West London
  • Salary: up to £45,260 FTE
  • Job Type: Part time

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of our learners, preparing them for industry.

Day-to-day of the role of an Early Years Lecturer Assessor:
  • Train and assess Work Based Learning learners and Apprentices within the workplace to determine their occupational competencies.
  • Teach on qualifications ranging from NCFE Level 2 to Level 3 in the Early Years sector.
  • Monitor and support learners' progress across their study programmes.
  • Engage with current courses offered for full-time students, including NCFE Level 1 and Level 2 Diplomas, as well as T Levels Early Years Educator with the Assisted Teaching Pathway.
  • Oversee Apprenticeship courses, including NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas for Early Years Practitioner and Early Years Educator Standards Apprenticeship.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Early Years role:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/VRQ qualification in Early Years/Teaching Assistant (preferably a degree in the relevant subject).
  • Assessor qualification E.G A1 assessors award, TAQA, CAVA or equivillant
  • A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness and ability to obtain this qualification, supported by the College.
  • Teaching and assessing experience in Early Years.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience of working in Early Years, both Education and Care.
