The Early Years Quality Improvement Team within the Education Improvement Service is seeking to recruit an exceptional officer with expert knowledge of early year's pedagogy who will inspire and motivate practitioners working across all sectors within the Early Years Foundation Stage. This is a permanent part-time (0.4 two day post, Monday's and Tuesday's) post from the 1st October 2026, or as soon afterwards as possible. Please note, this is not a term time only post. This is an exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Quality Improvement team. Candidates must have a proven track record in improving and strengthening positive outcomes for children. The ability to communicate effectively and disseminate practice clearly and passionately are essential to the role. Creative and critical thinkers are very welcome to apply.

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.
