Early Years SEN Teacher | About the Role

Remedy is seeking a passionate Early Years SEN Teacher to lead a small, dedicated class of students with severe and complex SEN needs. Starting in September 2025, this long-term role involves:

• Delivering a creative and personalised Early Years curriculum that meets each child's specific developmental and educational needs.
• Providing a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment to foster confidence, independence, and success.
• Leading and managing a small team of support staff (TAs) to provide 1:1 and group-based interventions.
• Using innovative strategies and SEN-specific resources to ensure all children make progress at their own pace.
• Working collaboratively with parents, therapists, and external professionals to provide holistic support for each child.

Early Years SEN Teacher | The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in EYFS/Specialist settings.
• Demonstrates a secure understanding of Early Years frameworks and SEN assessment strategies.
• Has experience working with students with complex learning difficulties, including autism, sensory impairments, and developmental delay.
• Is patient, adaptable, and committed to meeting the individual needs of students.
• Brings excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
