Early Years Teaching Assistant

Do you have experience with young children, as a nanny, babysitter or nursery assistant? Are you looking to transition this experience to older children within the early years foundation stage?

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will help to create a fun and nurturing environment, supporting the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years old in your care. You will work closely with the preschool team to assist in planning activities, ensuring the children's safety, and providing a positive learning experience.

• £90 - £100 per day, depending on experience
• Monday - Friday, 32.5 hours per week
• Term time only
• Keynsham - BS31

Role overview

• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children
• Support the daily routine, including mealtimes and outdoor play

A great Early Years Teaching Assistant will have

• Previous experience working with young children such as nursery work, babysitting, childcare, social care, teaching assistant etc
• A strong understanding of the early years foundation stage (EYFS)
• Amazing communication skills
