Our client, a forward-thinking local authority known for its innovative approaches to education and community engagement, is looking for an experienced Educational Psychologist to join their dedicated team. Based in the North West of the UK, this organisation is focused on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people through impactful interventions and strong partnerships with schools.

Role Responsibilities for an Educational Psychologist

  • Carry out individual educational assessments, develop personalised interventions, and support group initiatives to promote inclusive education.

  • Contribute to the professional growth of educational staff by delivering training on psychological principles and strategies.

Requirements for Educational Psychologists

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology or an equivalent, with HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.

  • At least 2 years of experience working with children and young people in educational or clinical settings, with proven ability to write and assess Educational Health Care (EHC) reports.

  • Strong understanding of educational provisions, policies, and inclusion strategies, paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
