Engineer - Training - Part-Time - Hybrid

Working 3 days per week, hybrid (once a month in Central London).

THE ROLE:

• Proactively implement initiatives to attract and retain a diverse membership, including technicians and apprentices.
• Organise and deliver activities to promote membership to new audiences.
• Offer one-on-one and group guidance to members and non-members on their professional qualification journey, both online and in-person.
• Build strong relationships with employers, offering advice on professional development and mentoring programs.
• Strengthen links with colleges and universities to inspire future civil engineers. 

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, training, or professional development. Professional qualification (EngTech, IEng, or CEng) is desirable, but not essential.
• Able to engage with diverse audiences, from aspiring engineers to senior industry professionals, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, with the ability to transform technical content into clear, non-technical outputs.
• Ready to work occasional evenings and travel as required, with a valid driver’s license and access to a car (car allowance provided).
