English Lecturer - Temporary - Part Time - Broxbourne and Ware - £31.13 to 33.13 per hour

We are recruiting for temporary English Lecturers to work at Hertford Regional College to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at their state of art facilities in Broxbourne and Ware.

About The Role

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting learners in developing their knowledge, practical skills and to deliver GCSE English and Functional Skills at the Broxbourne and Ware Campuses from September 2025. Various hours are available. As an English Lecturer you will teach inspiring lessons to maximise the progress, development, and employability of our students.

About You

Successful candidates will display a passion for teaching and enjoy interacting and engaging with students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues whilst using your own initiative. You will have a minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification or relevant Teacher Training, great interpersonal and organisation skills and be able to demonstrate previous teaching experience, delivering GCSE English, ideally with the FE sector. You will be a great team-player with that enjoys finding solutions. Experience of teaching functional skills in addition to GCSE level would be a considerable advantage.
