Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons for GCSE and Functional Skills learners.
• Develop innovative teaching strategies to engage and support learners with varied abilities.
• Monitor and track learners' progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the English curriculum.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective communication abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Qualified UK teacher (e.g., DET, DTTLS, PGCE) with up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.
• Competent in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and digital learning tools.
