Part-Time English Teacher – Secondary (KS4–KS5)
3 Days per Week | End of Week | Immediate Start Until End of Academic Year

Education Personnel, one of the leading education recruitment agencies in Derbyshire, is seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher for a part-time position at a highly regarded secondary school in the Derby area.

This role will begin from the first week of term and continue until the end of the academic year, offering a stable and rewarding opportunity within a supportive and well-established school community. The timetable will be three days per week, focused towards the end of the week.

Teaching English Language and Literature

Delivery primarily at Key Stage 5, with Key Stage 4 considered

Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Be a specialist English teacher with recent classroom experience

*

Have experience teaching KS5 (preferred), or strong KS4 experience

*

Be confident delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards

*

Be reliable, adaptable, and committed for the duration of the placement

Requirements:

QTS is essential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

*

Ability to commit to three days per week until the end of the academic year

*

Willingness to register with Education Personnel
