English Teacher - Secondary

• Contract Type: Temporary (3 days a week)

• Pay: Paid to main scale £168 - £232 per day

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our welcoming team on a temporary basis, starting in September and continuing until the Spring Half Term of February 2026. This part-time role (3 Days/Week) is perfect for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about English literature and language and thrives in a supportive and positive school environment. Our school offer a lovely atmosphere and a "Good" Ofsted rating, providing an ideal setting for both experienced and new staff.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring English lessons that engage and challenge students across secondary education levels.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and track academic progress.
• Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment that promotes enthusiasm for learning to students.
• Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance learning and accommodate different learning styles.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other events, contributing to the school community and fostering strong relationships.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching English in secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
