Job Details

We're looking for dedicated and engaging English Tutors to support children and young people across Hampshire.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll provide personalised 1:1 tuition to vulnerable learners who require alternative educational provision. Students may be of varying ages and come from a range of backgrounds, with many requiring additional support to improve confidence, re-engage with education, and progress in their learning.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building positive relationships and adapting their approach to meet the needs of each learner.

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Requirements

Minimum 6 months' experience working in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistance, mentoring, or other educational support roles
Strong English knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging sessions
Experience supporting children and young people with a range of learning needs is desirable
Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Access to a vehicle is desirable; alternatively, willingness to travel within your local area
