Environmental Advisor

Full or Part-Time hybrid opportunity!

Are you an Environmental Advisor/Officer or Consultant considering a Full-Time or Part-Time position, experienced in environmental permitting?

• Waste classification and testing.

Please note: this role will require travel across the south of the UK due our client operating multiple depots.

Role Location: South East, ideally but not restricted within the M25 or M4 Corridor

Job Title: Environmental Advisor - Waste Management & Construction

Salary: 40,000 to 50,000

Job Type: Full or Part-Time permanent. Minimum 3 days a week.

Environmental Advisor - Role Overview:

Reporting to the Environmental Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Environmental Department to help monitor and maintain compliance.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in environmental permitting.
• Good understanding of environmental law.
• Environmental Degree or equivalent.
• Previous exposure to the construction or waste management industries.
• IEMA/CIWM or similar membership, grade commensurate with experience.
• Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015.
• Previous exposure to preparation of waste returns
• Internal environmental auditing experience.
• Previous experience in working for the Environment Agency
